Israel provided ​intelligence that helped the US to rescue its airman from Iran, Reuters reported, citing an ​Israeli ​security ⁠official. The security official also claimed that Israel halted its ‌attacks ⁠in the particular area in Iran to ​facilitate ​the US rescue ⁠mission. The airman was rescued after ejecting from a US fighter jet that was downed by Iran.
