Israeli minister Ben Gvir enters Al-Aqsa mosque, draws Arab nations’ ire

Israel’s far-right minister Ben Gvir entered Al-Aqsa Mosque in East Jerusalem accompanied by Israeli forces. He toured the site’s courtyards and performed Talmudic rituals in its eastern area. Jordan, Kuwait, Qatar and Saudi Arabia criticised his actions, saying he violated the site’s status quo. Jews and Christians can visit Al-Aqsa as tourists but are forbidden from praying there, WION reported.
