Israeli minister proposes to name lounge at airport after Indian pilot Smit who saved lives

Israel Deputy Minister Almog Cohen said he will submit a bill to name a lounge at Ben Gurion Airport to honour Smit Machchhar, the Indian pilot who saved nearly 180 lives by fighting his co-pilot. "I...extend my best wishes to your family and your wonderful parents, who taught you that saving human life is the highest value," stated the minister.
