Israeli Prez delays Netanyahu's pardon in corruption case, calls for settlement

Israeli President Isaac Herzog has delayed PM Benjamin Netanyahu's pardon request in his corruption trial, calling for a plea bargain between the parties. "Before discussing the pardon request itself, exhaust a process that could lead to the formation of an agreement...outside the walls of the court," his statement read. Netanyahu is facing charges of bribery, fraud and breach of trust.
