Israeli town Dimona, which Iran struck, is known as 'Little India'
Iran struck the Israeli town of Dimona, which is home to a nuclear facility, as the Middle East war continues to escalate. Notably, this town is also referred as "Little India", because the Indian community is about 7,500 strong. The town has Indian shops which sell 'sonpapdi', 'gulab jamun', 'papri chaat' and 'bhelpuri'. Cricket is popular there too.
