ISRO aims to commission 3rd launch pad at Shriharikota: Report

ISRO is reportedly in process of developing a third launch pad at Sriharikota spaceport and is identifying right vendors for it. The launch pad will help place bigger satellites weighing over 12,000 - 14,000 kg in various orbits, a scientist was quoted saying by PTI. "We plan to install and commission the launch pad in four years," he added.
