ISRO reveals space debris problem from dead Indian satellites

India faces a rising challenge with space debris, with 129 trackable objects including 49 non-functional satellites and rocket fragments orbiting Earth. ISRO is tackling the problem through initiatives like the Debris Free Space Mission, SpaDeX, and Project Netra, focusing on tracking, preventing, and safely removing debris to ensure safer conditions for active satellites and space exploration.
