ISRO's rocket with spy satellite successfully lifts off in India's 1st launch of 2026

India launched its first space mission of 2026 as ISRO's PSLV-C62 rocket successfully lifted off from Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota. The rocket is carrying the spy satellite Anvesha along with 15 other co-passenger satellites. Anvesha satellite was developed by the DRDO and is designed to provide cutting-edge imaging capabilities, which will allow India to map enemy locations.
