ISRO satellites are transforming disaster management in Jammu & Kashmir. The flood maps, landslides, and forest fire alerts are provided through ISRO’s Geoportals such as Bhuvan and the National Database for Emergency Management (NDEM). Satellite data also supports resource mapping, biodiversity studies, and land degradation monitoring.
