ISRO scientist framed for spying dies without hearing SC verdict

Former ISRO scientist K Chandrasekhar, framed for spying in 1994 ISRO espionage case, slipped into coma hours before Supreme Court's verdict clearing his name on Friday. "We tried to show him TV grabs of the news but he was unconscious," said his wife. Chandrasekhar, falsely charged of transferring confidential documents on India's space programme, passed away on Sunday at 76.
