ISRO successfully launches India's largest rocket LVM3 carrying 36 satellites
The ISRO on Sunday successfully launched India's largest rocket, the LVM3, from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota. The rocket is carrying 36 OneWeb Gen-1 satellites weighing about 5,805 kg, which will be placed into the low-Earth orbit. The 43.5 metre tall rocket has had five consecutive successful missions before today's launch, including the Chandrayaan-2 mission.
