ISRO successfully launches next-gen satellite to strengthen India's own GPS
ISRO successfully launched its next-generation NVS-03 navigation satellite aboard the GSLV-F18 rocket from Sriharikota on Friday night. The 2,232-kg satellite is designed to strengthen NavIC, India's indigenous alternative to GPS. Carrying an Indian-made atomic clock and an additional L1 signal, NVS-03 aims to improve positioning and navigation services across India and neighbouring regions.
