ISRO successfully tests next-gen rocket engine at near-full thrust
ISRO has successfully conducted a hot test of its next-generation semi-cryogenic rocket engine powerhead at a 175-tonne thrust level (88% of full capacity). The test boosted confidence for a full-thrust trial, the space agency said. It is part of ISRO's efforts to develop a new propulsion stage that will replace the current L110 core stage of the LVM3 launch vehicle.
