I-T attaches some Mindtree shares held by Coffee Day, its founder

The Income Tax Department has attached a portion of shares held by Coffee Day Enterprises and its founder VG Siddhartha in IT firm Mindtree over a potential tax demand. The shares represent a 4.5% stake. Siddhartha, who owns 21% of Mindtree along with his affiliates, is reportedly in advanced discussions with various entities to sell his shares in the company.
