IT dept enables ITR-2 online filing, Excel utility for AY 2026-27

Income Tax Department has enabled online filing and Excel utility for ITR-2 for assessment year 2026-27 on the e-filing portal. ITR-2 is filed by individuals and Hindu Undivided Families (HUFs) who do not earn any income from business or profession but have receipts from capital gains. The development comes days after the department released Excel utilities for ITR-1 and ITR-4.
