"It felt like an earthquake," locals said after a four-storey building collapsed in Mumbai's Kurla on Monday night. While the entire neighbourhood felt a jolt, the compound was engulfed in smoke and dust, they added. "[Locals] tried to remove the debris with...hands and spades and tried to pull out people using ropes and sarees," one of the survivors said.
