Edelweiss Mutual Fund's CEO Radhika Gupta has called it pointless to invest in a mutual fund that is ranked number 1. "Sorting by top returns isn't an investment strategy," she said, explaining that consistency is more important. She further said that if a scheme is ranked #1, several investors begin to invest their money into it, based on unrealistic expectations.
