I-T raids on businessman who launched Samajwadi Party perfume reportedly unearth ₹150 cr

Cash worth at least ₹150 crore has reportedly been detected during Income Tax raids on multiple premises linked to Kanpur perfume trader Piyush Jain so far. Pictures purportedly showed officials sitting on the floor and using note-counting machines. In November, Jain had launched a perfume for Samajwadi Party called 'Samajwadi Attar' in light of the upcoming Uttar Pradesh elections.
