Weightlifter Ajaya Babu Valluri described his Commonwealth Games 2026 silver medal as "a mix of happiness and sadness" after missing out on gold by just 1 kg. "However, I performed better today. I feel that a mistake cost me the gold today...The journey to reach this point was incredibly hard," he said. Ajaya registered a combined lift of 330 kg.
