Former India batter Aakash Chopra praised Mumbai Indians' (MI) squad ahead of IPL 2026, saying, "It seems like it's a team of Avengers. Everyone has a superpower." He mentioned the signing of Quinton De Kock for ₹1 crore, and said that additions of Sherfane Rutherford, Shardul Thakur and Mayank Markande via trades has made the team "more complete".
