US President Donald Trump expressed readiness to meet his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin. When asked when he would meet Putin, he replied, "It's time for us to just do it," adding that the meeting would take place "as soon as we can set it up". Trump claimed that the world would become "much much safer in 2-3 weeks".
