It seems like curators just sit on road rollers all the time: Jaffer on modern-day pitches

After India-West Indies' 811-run second ODI, former India cricketer Wasim Jaffer criticised modern-day batting-friendly pitches saying they offer "absolutely nothing" for bowlers. "It seems like the curators just sit on road rollers all the time. It looks less like a pitch and more like a road," he added. Jaffer stressed there needs to be a contest between bat and ball.
