IT stocks fell for third day, lost ₹1.2 lakh crore

Indian IT stocks extended their decline for a third straight day on Wednesday, led by HCL Tech and Infosys. Infosys fell for the sixth session, while TCS declined for the seventh consecutive day. Nifty IT stocks collectively lost over ₹1.2 lakh crore in market value in two-and-a-half days, with HCL Tech down 4% and TCS losing over ₹37,000 crore.
