It was heartbreaking: Actress Lin Laishram on Priyanka playing lead role in 'Mary Kom'

Manipuri actress-model Lin Laishram has said it was "heartbreaking" to see someone who wasn't from the Northeast being cast as Mary Kom in the boxer's 2014 biopic. "It could've been anybody from...Northeast. We have many great actors. But the casting...team decided on someone else," she told Bollywood Hungama. Priyanka Chopra had portrayed Mary Kom in the film.
