It was reality of those times: Padmaavat writer on Swara's Jauhar remark

Padmaavat writer Prakash Kapadia addressed the depiction of jauhar in the film amid Swara Bhasker's comments. "What we showed including the jauhar scene was the reality of those times...The situation was that of 'do or die'," he said. Kapadia added that he co-wrote the film with Sanjay Bhansali and they made it according to "what is written in history books".
