It would be nice if someone would let me retire: Anderson on abrupt Lancashire exit

England legend James Anderson said he was "shocked" after Lancashire decided not to renew his contract. "I wanted to see my career out with Lancs," the 44-year-old said. "I don't know if my career is done, we will have to wait and see, but it would be nice at some point if someone would let me retire," he added.
