Italian chef Roberto known to be co-creator of tiramisu, dies at 81
Italian pastry chef Roberto 'Loli' Linguanotto who is believed to be the co-creator of the dessert tiramisu, has passed away at the age of 81. While the exact origins of the dessert are unknown, Roberto and Alba di Pillo, the wife of the restaurant Le Beccherie's owner, are credited with the creation of what is now considered the classic version.
