Italy, ​Spain, France, Netherlands to send naval assets to protect Cyprus

Italy, Spain, France and the Netherlands will send naval assets to protect Cyprus in the coming days, Rome's Defence Minister Guido Crosetto said. The move comes after a British Royal Air Force base on the island was targeted by an unmanned Shahed-like drone amid the Middle East war. Spain said it'll send its most advanced frigate to help protect Cyprus.
