Italy becomes second country after US to record 20,000 coronavirus deaths

Italy has become the second country after US to record 20,000 deaths due to coronavirus. The death toll in Italy rose by 566 to 20,465 on Monday, while the number of confirmed cases climbed by 3,153 to 1,59,516, the third-highest global tally behind those of the United States and Spain. Currently, there are 3,260 COVID-19 patients in ICU in Italy.
