Italy Navy captain jailed for 30 yrs for selling secrets to Russia

A military tribunal court in Italy has sentenced a Navy captain to 30 years in prison after he was found guilty of selling secrets to Russia. Walter Biot was arrested in 2021 as he was handing information to a Russian embassy employee in a Rome car park. Biot reportedly sold documents, including classified NATO documents, for €5,000 (over ₹4.3 lakh).
