Italy PM Giorgia Meloni in China on first official visit

Italian PM Giorgio Meloni arrived in Beijing on the afternoon of 27 July 2024 for an official visit. It is her first visit to China since she took office nearly two years ago. She will be meeting President Xi Jingping and Premier Li Qiang. "Prime Minister Meloni will be looking to relaunch bilateral relations" said an Italian official.
