Italy probes Microsoft over Microsoft 365 subscription price hike

Italy's antitrust authority has opened an investigation into Microsoft over the price hike of its Microsoft 365 subscription. The regulator said the firm ⁠failed to adequately inform consumers ​that its Microsoft 365 service had ​been integrated with AI tools Copilot and Designer. It added that Microsoft's practice ​could ⁠be considered aggressive for unduly limiting consumers' freedom ​of choice.
