Italy probes Microsoft's sales practices for Call of Duty, Diablo
Italy's competition watchdog said it is investigating Microsoft's Activision Blizzard unit over allegedly "misleading and aggressive" sales practices for 'Diablo Immortal' and 'Call of Duty: Mobile'. The probes focus on incentives to buy extra content for the free-to-play franchises via in-app messages and push notifications. Authorities said the company may be violating consumer protection laws.
