Italy's Meloni threatens to suspend Schengen travel with Spain amid Ceuta migrant influx
Italian PM Giorgia Meloni threatened to suspend Schengen free-travel arrangements with Spain after thousands of migrants entered Spain's Ceuta from Morocco. She said the scenes from Ceuta showed how uncontrolled illegal immigration threatens Europe’s border security. "We are prepared to intervene with extraordinary measures to defend the borders and the safety of citizens," Meloni added.
