Italy set to send air defence aid to Middle East countries

Italy is ‌planning to send air defence aid to Gulf countries amid Middle East war, Italy's PM Giorgia Meloni said. "Like...United Kingdom, France and ​Germany, Italy intends to send assistance...specifically in ⁠the field of defence and...in particular air defence," Meloni stated. She said the move was driven not only by diplomatic ties but ​by presence of Italians on the ground.
