Italy told China it plans to leave Belt & Road Initiative amid G20 Summit: Report

Italian PM Giorgia Meloni on Saturday met Chinese Premier Li Qiang on the sidelines of the G20 Summit in Delhi and "signalled" Italy's plan to exit the Belt and Road Initiative, Bloomberg reported. Meloni reportedly told Li that Italy intends to leave the investment pact without straining relations with China. Italy is the only G7 nation part of the pact.
