ITBP buys vegetables from Sikkim farmers to boost local economy

The 11th Battalion of Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) is procuring fresh vegetables from local farmers in Sikkim under Vibrant Village Programme, a scheme sponsored by Central Government. "Initiative strengthens rural livelihoods, boosts local economy," ITBP wrote on X, adding that the force is "reinforcing" partnership with border communities. "A step towards self-reliance," a user remarked.
