ITBP's all-women expedition successfully summits Mount Everest

The Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) has completed its first-ever All-Women International Mountaineering Expedition to Mount Everest (8,848 m). The 14-member team, comprising 11 women climbers and three technical and support members, achieved the feat on Thursday via the South Col Route. Sharing pictures, the ITBP wrote, "History made on Mount Everest...Proud moment for India."
