ITC's top shareholder British American Tobacco to exit hotels arm

ITC's biggest shareholder, British American Tobacco (BAT), plans to exit the Indian conglomerate's hotel business once it is demerged and listed. BAT CEO Tadeu Marroco said there is no intention of being shareholders in hotels in India. ITC recently received approval from the Kolkata bench of the National Company Law Tribunal for the demerger.
