ITC's net profit rose 28.63% to ₹3,013.49 crore during the April-June period as against ₹2,342.76 crore in the same quarter last year. The company's revenue from sales rose 36.55% to ₹12,884.45 crore in the first quarter from ₹9,435.61 crore in the year-ago period. Total revenue from cigarettes business jumped by 32.91% to ₹5,122.19 crore in the quarter.
