It'll be disastrous: Activist on Pune River Rejuvenation Project

Environmental activist Sarang Yadwadkar has said that the Pune River Rejuvenation Project "will prove disastrous to the city". "River needs purification, not beautification. If our mother is ill, will we take her to a beauty parlour or a clinic?" he questioned. His remarks came after Union Jal Shakti Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat said the project will be completed by 2025.
