It's been a dire Test year for England: McCullum on Root's captaincy

Ex-New Zealand captain Brendon McCullum criticised Joe Root for his captaincy and said he's not a "very great leader". He stated, "That [first Ashes Test] is their seventh Test loss in the calendar year which is just remarkable...it's been a pretty dire Test match year for England." England lost the first Ashes Test by nine wickets against Australia in Brisbane.
