It's finished: Dutch teen rape survivor ends life with mercy killing

Noa Pothoven, a 17-year-old girl from Netherlands, who was raped as a child, died after being assisted by the state to end her life after a years-long struggle with depression. In an Instagram post shared days before her death, she wrote, "After years of fighting and fighting it is finished." Euthanasia, or mercy killing, is reportedly legal in the country.
