It's time for my next play: LinkedIn CEO Jeff Weiner announces to step down

Jeff Weiner on Wednesday through a LinkedIn post announced that he will step down as the company's CEO after 11 years on June 1, 2020, and take over as LinkedIn's Executive Chairman. Weiner said, "it's time for my next play," and named Ryan Roslansky, LinkedIn's head of product, as next CEO. Microsoft acquired LinkedIn in a $26.2-billion deal in 2016.
