Ivory Coast reach FIFA World Cup knockouts for 1st time in history

Ivory Coast defeated Curaçao 2-0 in their Group E match at the 2026 FIFA World Cup on June 26 to qualify for the knockout stage. Forward Nicolas Pépé scored a brace, scoring in the seventh and 64th minutes. This is the first time in history that the Ivory Coast have qualified for the knockout stage of the FIFA World Cup.
