J&K Assembly passes resolution demanding restoration of statehood

Jammu and Kashmir Assembly passed a resolution, amid a walkout by BJP MLAs, on Monday urging the government to restore full statehood. The resolution was taken up for discussion amid 10 amendments moved by legislators, out of which eight amendments demanded restoration of special status Jammu and Kashmir held before August 2019. The resolution was moved by CM Omar Abdullah.
