Jammu and Kashmir hosted its first-ever international marathon on Sunday with nearly 4,000 runners from India and abroad participating in it. J&K Sports Minister Satish Sharma, while admitting the lack of sports facilities in the state, said, "Sports will be brought to its peak. Under Omar Abdullah's leadership, major sports events will also take place in Jammu."
