J&K issues notices to 927 vehicles over rule violations

The Assistant Regional Transport Officer (ARTO) in Jammu and Kashmir's Doda has issued show cause notices to owners of 927 transport vehicles - 728 for operating without valid permits and 199 for expired fitness certificates. Owners have been given seven days to comply, failing which authorities may suspend registrations, cancel permits, or impound the vehicles.
