J'khand police, locals rescue 3 people stranded on flooded bridge

Police, with the help of locals, rescued three people who were stranded on a bridge flooded by the overflowing Gerua River in Jharkhand’s Chatra district on Thursday. The incident occurred when the three youths, travelling on two motorcycles, attempted to cross the bridge amid heavy rainfall. One of them fainted after seeing the swollen river and was admitted to hospital.
