Jack Dorsey's Block rehires some employees after 4,000 layoffs

Jack Dorsey-led Block rehired at least four employees after laying them off during a major round of job cuts in February that affected nearly 40% (or over 4,000) of the company's workforce. The rehired employees are from different departments like engineering and recruiting. Earlier, technical lead Richard Hesse threatened to quit if the company didn't rehire some of his team.
